Northern Lights Tour from Tromsø

It was not an unpleasant night, but sadly, we didn’t even come close to seeing the northern lights

We had a great time on this aurora hunt! Smooth drive to the viewing location, with bathroom stops in between. Glad the company provided gear (jumpsuit and tripod), as well as setup a firepit with chairs, snacks, and a warm beverage. But my wife and I could not stop looking and taking photos of the aurora! It was the highlight of our trip to Tromso.

I appreciate that they went to find clear skies. We drove almost to Finland as the sky in Tromso was cloudy.

Outstanding. We never would have seen the Northern Lights if we didn't take this tour. Tromso was snowed in, we had to drive 3 hours to Finland for clear skies.

Our guide Harry was professional and passionate and did his best to make sure we had the best chance at spotting the Northern lights and we were not disappointed!

Bucket list tour for a bucket list adventure. Pick up instructions were clear, we stopped for restrooms along the way and took time to get photos as the sun set. Once we arrived at our spot for the evening, the guides set up camp and got us in our thermal suits for optimal comfort. Hot beverages and deer sausages were enjoyed around the campfire as we waited for the sky to darken. Then the show started - how spectacular and lucky we were!

It was an amazing experience. Harry was very professional at explaining the phenomenon involving the Northern Lights and more! He immediately gave us amazing tips and explained to us how the pursuit for the lights would have happened that night. He constantly assessed the weather and understood perfectly where to go and HAZAAA we saw them! I urge everyone to book his tour, he is a great guide always there to help, make you feel welcome and to especially make sure you have a great time! Excellent tour where we managed to see the Northern lights even though the weather was bad and the lights weren't particularly strong. Really good to have a camp set up with hot drinks and food. Very enjoyable experience.

Fabulous- lights were amazing even though not strongest of nights. Max was really great - knowledgeable and good company. Michael was an amazing driver as tricky conditions . They work hard to find the lights and give you a fabulous experience- camp fire, warm food and drinks

Couldn't have dreamt of a better guide or driver in the challenging weather conditions. Both were kind, hugely experienced and reliable. They found the right spot to set up camp and see the Northern Lights, based on their experience and knowledge.

We had a really amazing time and Harry is extremely knowledgeable with regards to everything northern lights related.

We had experienced and good natured tour guides. Max did a great job managing expectations and really working to find us a great place where we would have the opportunity to watch the aurora. After finding a place with clear skies, Max took portraits of everyone with the aurora and then helped everyone with a camera get the settings just right to capture their own pictures. And what a show we had to capture! The campfire with hot drinks and sausages was a great way to close the activity. And to top it off, each person was then dropped off at their doorstep. The experience was truly once in a lifetime.

Whole experience was great - we saw the lights despite bad weather leaving Tromsø. Guide and driver were absolutely lovely & the campfire was so fun. I’ve already recommended this to other people visiting Tromsø it’s such a good tour

The activity was really nice! The conditions where horrible, but we saw the northern lights multiple times! They built a campfire and gave us hot drinks and norwegian sausages, which was really nice and cozy. The guides had to make a lot of tough decisions about where to go but it totally worked out. They also gave us a lot of information about the northern lights and made pictures of the lights and of us.

To join this tour was a dream come true. I could not be more happy and satisfied with the logistic, organization and staff’s knowledge and amability.

This was a very well organised and satisfying tour.

Amazing experience

We made a 1,5h tour south of Tromsø and spend the evening there first looking at the lights building up, then drinking tea and hot chocolate and eating sausages roasted over the fire before the lights came back more active. It was a cold night, the suits provided were warm but eventually our feet got cold despite everything and we headed back. The tour took a little more than 7 hours overall.

It was much more than just a northern lights tour. We had a wonderful time learning astrology from Harry, and we thoroughly enjoyed the campfire on the frozen lake.

Excellent guide in Harry and helpful driver in Marcin. Chasing the lights was educational and fun, Arctic suits and hot beverages made sure we were kept warm. Harry’s persistence meant that we saw not only the “normal” green aurora but we also kept going and witnessed pink dancing ones! Amazing, once in a lifetime experience.

A really brilliant tour, the guides were so knowledgable and friendly and really went the extra mile to try and drive us to the perfect spot to see the lights. We were looked after really well and it was nice to be in a smaller group. Would absolutely recommend.

I had a good organized and very motivated guide and driver in Max and Marcin. We were brought to the best spot where the group was for itself in a beautiful cinematic place. Full moon, campfire and the prettiest aurora, it could not have been better!

I definitely recommend this tour for a more personal lights chase. The small group meant we were able to go to more areas and we were able to see the lights straight away

Big thanks to Harry and Carolina for a spectacular evening. Between marvelling at the Northern lights, sitting by a fire and eating traditional food, learning the science behind the phenomenon, and spotting bioluminescent plankton in the icy waters- I could not have asked for a better experience. Well worth the price.

It was a tough weather night to chase the Northern Lights, but our guide Harry was fantastic! He and the driver (Marsh) were both very helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. they made the adventure special.

We drove far outside of Tromsø and were successful seeing northern lights and even dancing lights. It was a great experience

This was an amazing tour from start to end. Barbora and Martin were very thoughtful and helpful for all passengers and took great care of us. We saw superb Aurora activity and managed also to remain comfortable despite the cold.

We went with Harry to hunt the Aurora. Even if in tromso it was a cloudy/rainy day we were able to see the aurora and camp on a beautiful field.

Remontée vers le Nord ployé trouver un ciel dégagé. Arrêt dans un très bel endroit pour observer les aurores puis dégustation de saucisses près du feu! Moment magique.
