Northern Lights Experience in Finnish Lapland

The Finish city of Rovaniemi is located high up in the arctic north close to the Arctic Circle. Beside of its extreme weather conditions, untouched wilderness and peaceful nature, you will also have a very high chance of experiencing the Northern Lights in this fantastic winter wonderland.

Each tour starts with extensive monitoring of the current weather conditions and the Northern Lights forecasts. The Northern Lights are unpredictable and, therefore, there is no guarantee that you will actually see them, unfortunately. However, with the experienced guides on this tour, you have the best chances!

Your guide will pick you up at your location in Rovaniemi. Now you are going to learn everything about the Northern Lights, Lapland's wildlife, local cuisine or any other topics you are interested in.

Now it's time to go out into the wilderness, where you'll learn how the locals prepare fires and meals in these icy temperatures. Near a heated cabin, you'll watch out for the first signs of the northern lights and wait for the show to begin.

Usually, the first lights appear near frozen lakes and waters. So be prepared to spend a lot of time outside and dash through snowfields in complete darkness while searching for the northern lights...

All tours start between 19:00 and 21:00. The entire trip last for roughly 4 hours.
