Activity description
Freedive into the underwater world and challenge your mind and body with this complete PADI three day course in the gorgeous waters of Cape Town.
Freediving can help you break through mental and physical barriers, reaching depths you never thought possible. With this three day course, you can discover why freediving is becoming the most popular way to explore what is beneath the surface.
The course consists of three main phases: knowledge development with the freediving principles through independent study with the PADI Freediver Touch™. A confined water session to learn breath holding techniques and static and dynamic apnea. Lastly, open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight free dives, proper buddy procedures, and more!
Day 1: You will meet your instructor on the V&A Waterfront for the academic portion of the course. After trying on the scuba equipment you will head to the pool for a confined water session.
Day 2/3: You will be completing dives in the open ocean after reviewing techniques you have learned the previous day.
