Activity description
Experience the world beneath the waves in an amazing open water dive in the waters of Cape Town.
Kick off your adventures in Cape Town with a PADI Open Water Diver course provided by some of the best instructors in the Mother City. Here you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving and create a solid foundation for all of your future PADI courses. This three-day adventure includes theory practice and 4 open water dives. You can expect to end each day back at the V&A Waterfront around 15h30.
Course Details
Day 1: You will meet with your instructor at the office on the V&A Waterfront. The day begins by completing a little bit of paperwork followed by a review of theory. The goal is for you to understand the basic principles of scuba diving. After trying on scuba equipment you will head to the pool for the first basic underwater lesson.
Day 2: Today you will head to the open water! You will review skills you practiced in the pool then complete 2 ocean dives.
Day 3: You head off to the open water where you will complete 2 more ocean dives and continue to review your skills and newfound underwater passion!
Transfer within 5km radius of Central Business District in Cape Town (Min 2 ppl)
Activity requirements
No pre-training required but must be in good physical health.
Special terms
Expeditions are weather dependent.
Maximum of 4 students per instructor.
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
