Activity description
Take a dive and play with some adorable cape fur seals as you discover the underwater world of Cape Town.
For Open Water Divers looking for a truly special dive off of the Atlantic Seaboard, this is the activity for you! Cape fur seals are extremely curious creatures that love to entertain divers up to 25 meters down under these waters. This tour includes a picturesque ride on an 8.5 m RIB boat for added fun.
The day kicks off on the V&A Waterfront where you will meet with your professional diving guide. Here you will complete some paperwork, be fitted into your scuba gear, and go over important safety instructions. Departing from the waterfront, your guide will take you on a scenic boat ride to the diving site. You may encounter marine life along the way, including dolphins, whales, penguins, and more! The well-known seal colony is found close to the shore in the midst of an enchanting kelp forest. These playful seals make for perfect diving buddies and will be happy to help you discover their underwater world. Once your dive has come to an end, your boat will take you back to the V&A Waterfront where you can enjoy the rest of your afternoon.
