Take a scenic boat ride along the Cape Town Atlantic Coast to the playful seal colony waiting to snorkel with you!
Ever dreamed of snorkeling with some adorably friendly seals? Here is your chance to do it in none other than the Mother City! The ocean’s most playful mammals are here to show you the beauty of the Cape Town Atlantic Coastline and its surrounding ocean. In this activity you can expect to not only learn about the cape fur seal’s habits but also experience their friendly nature first hand.
The adventure starts off on the V&A Waterfront where you will meet your professional instructor. At the dive shop you will complete paperwork, be fitted into your snorkeling gear, and go over brief but important safety precautions. Next you will enjoy a 20 minute adventure boat ride as you search for marine life on your way to the way to the Cape Fur Seal colony in Ouderkraal. You may encounter some dolphins, whales, penguins, sun fish and more! Once you reach the colony, you will snorkel with the funny seals for about half an hour before returning to shore.

Special terms
No experience is needed for snorkelers but you must be a competent swimmer
Motion sickness can be a problem for some people so please be aware of this
