Backcountry skiing is a fascinating sport that also has its roots many years ago as a way to access the snow-covered wilderness. This sport is an environmentally friendly way of getting in touch with nature while experiencing Arctic conditions. During your skiing adventure, you will get off the beaten path and right into the deep snow.
After meeting in Rovaniemi, you will travel by minivan to a secret location hidden in the woods nearby the city. The team will provide you with specially-made skis which represent the newest innovation in Finnish ski technology focused on the exploration of the wilderness. The design of these skis will provide unlimited access to the endless, snowy hinterlands of Lapland!
During the day, you'll take a break in a wooden shelter where, together with the team, you'll build a campfire and enjoy some grilled sausages. The tour is guided by a professional guide and photographer who will also teach you some tricks and techniques for your own landscape and nature photography!
Minors must have authorization from their parents.
