Enjoy a tandem paragliding flight over Chamonix and its mountains from Planpraz with an experienced pilot!

A first paragliding experience is the ideal way to soar over some of the most beautiful scenery in Haute-Savoie. If you've never been paragliding before and want to give it a go, a first flight in Chamonix is highly recommended! The experience will stay with you forever and will not only make you want to go paragliding again, but also to return to Chamonix!

For this paragliding experience in Chamonix, you can choose between several tandem paragliding first flights. The discovery package or the freestyle sensation package will give you two very different flights! Once it's time to take off, all you have to do is run a few metres and then let your instructor guide you through the flight.

Meanwhile, you'll have the chance to admire the mountain scenery around Chamonix and the Planpraz summit, while getting your adrenaline pumping! With the Mont Blanc massif right in front of you, you're guaranteed to get a great view!

Enjoy a 20 minutes tandem paraglinding flight, in complete safety ! You will initiate yourself in piloting, under the advice of your instructor!

After a few steps on a gentle slope, you will take off facing the Mont Blanc, 1000 meters above the Chamonix valley.

Equip yourself with a good pair of shoes, a windbreaker and sunglasses. In winter, ski clothes are perfectly suited.

Course of events

- When you arrive at the meeting point, you and your pilot will board the gondola for a 10-minute briefing on how the tandem flight will work.

- After an easy 5-minute walk to the take-off site high above Planpraz, you'll be fitted with a helmet and harness.

- After the usual preparations (untangling the glider, giving instructions to the passenger), all you need to do is take a few steps forward and you'll be in the air!

- Then you're off: depending on the conditions, your pilot will always try to optimise the flight, and if you feel like it, he can perform a few acrobatic manoeuvres and give you an introduction to flying.

- You'll fly over the entire Chamonix valley, skimming over the steep slopes facing Mont-Blanc and occasionally having the chance to spot a golden eagle, chamois or ibex.

- You'll finish your flight 1,000 metres below, a stone's throw from Chamonix town centre, where you'll debrief your experience with a smile on your face.

L’activité était magique ! Les conditions météo ne permettaient pas de faire un vol de 45min-1h donc le vol s’est fait en 2 fois pour comptabiliser. Pendant l’activité, tout s’est très bien passé hormis le mal aux cœur dues aux voltiges acrobatique 😅
