Enjoy a day out on the fjords as you roam to your snowshoeing location in a luxurious Tesla Model X!
Meet us at our basecamp in central Tromsø, or ask us to pick you up at your hotel. You will then be introduced to your guide, who will give you all your gear, including snowshoes, poles, boots and snacks. He will then unroll the map and discuss with you the route of the day. A small group of maximum 5, this experience allows for a calm and comfortable roadtrip and hike, where your guide will have your attention at all times.
You will then drive up to the hiking spot in your very own Tesla Model X. Enjoy the smooth drive down the wild roads of Northern Norway, surrounded by mountains and rivers on all sides. Being zero-carbon, Tesla is truly the best companion for roaming the raw wilderness of Scandinavia.
The tour lasts around 5 hours, including 2-3 hours of hiking. During this excursion, you will venture through some remarkable spots, hike summits and enjoy the breathtaking views of the winter fjords, where sometimes whales and orcas are hunting. The hike will be physical, but not out of reach for beginners. Take in Norway's breathtaking views as you enjoy a light picnic lunch at the end of your hike - everything tastes so much better after a bit of exercise in the Arctic air!
Wildlife is a common theme during this snowshoe hiking tour. You often see whales, orcas, eagles, seals, reindeers and other animals during both the drive and the hike.
The tour takes place from 10:00am to 3:00pm and includes:
– A brief introduction to the Tesla Model X
– Comfortable seatings and extended windows for optimal view
– Certified driver and guide
– Borrow all gear and snowshoes
– Extra picture package sent via email
– Picnic and softdrinks at beautiful camp spots
– Heated car comfortable pillows to sit on
– Warm suits, gloves, hats and boots for being outside
Warm safety suits for all activities are provided, however, it is recommended to always bring clothes that can handle the winter climate. In the coldest peaks of the winter season temperatures can drop as low as – 20°C / -4°F.
