Activity description
The Colosseum is fun, but skydiving from 4000 meters is better. Experience Tandem Skydiving in Nettuno, near Rome. It will be an unforgettable experience!
The dropzone is in Nettuno, 65 km from the center of Rome. Once you arrive at the skydive center, you will meet your instructors who will explain the proper jumping technique, safety procedures, and anything you'd like to know regarding skydiving. On average, the briefing lasts about 15-20 minutes. A training jump led by an instructor is aimed at people who have never tried the freefall and it is useful for an eventual aff course.
After a theoric lesson you will be immediately ready to jump with a qualified instructor. You will then gear up and fly on the plane Pilatus Porter PC-6 to reach an altitude of 4000 meters...not too much to think about up there: just JUMP!
You will free-fall for an entire minute at a speed of 200km/h, taking in incredible views of the coast and the city of Rome: what an adrenaline boost!
After the parachute opens, you will gently glide to return to the dropzone. Before the soft landing comes you will have the possibility to pilot the parachute. If not, your instructor will take care of everything and all you'll have to worry about is fully embracing this exhilarating moment! Under the canopy, you will enjoy about 5 minutes of great emotions.
Every step of your jump, from ground training to the landing, will be recorded on a DVD that you will receive immediately with a participation certificate.
Videos and pictures of your tandem are included. Remember, you only get to make one first jump!
