Activity description
Roc'Emotion offers you to discover caving and the underworld in peace in the cave of the "Faux Monnayeurs" (Counterfeiters). The Jura is known for the wealth of its cave explorations and so this is the perfect place to discover the practice in a safe and beautiful setting!
This cave is easy to access, exploration remains easy without technical difficulties since the galleries are often large. You will discover a whole historical heritage, the water sculpture work on the limestone, fossils, crystals of limestone and stunning views of the top of the valley of Loue.
A surprise awaits you at the exit...
The itinerary
Currently, the "Faux Monnayeurs" cave extends on 1,295 m with an altitude difference of 55 m (+ 37 and - 18 m).
The 7 metres high and 5 to 6 metres width entrance porch opens at ten metres high in the rock wall.
A ladder attached to the wall makes the access easy for beginners.
You will evolve underground horizontally, which makes the cave perfect for a first discovery of the activity!
You go for around 3 hours of activity and underground discovery in a group of 10 people max per guide!
Activity requirements
Children must be aged at least 8 years old to take part in the activity and be under the surveillance of an adult.
