The province of Lleida is ideal for practicing adventure sports and active tourism in general. Due to its lakes, mountains and rivers, Lleida is an ideal venue to discover. Made up by 231 municipalities, the province is one of Spain’s leading destinations amongst extreme sports lovers of all ages and levels.

To the north, you’ll find the Catalan Pyrenees. The glorious mountains are witnesses of many skiers during the winter. It has more than 20 ski resorts around the area; all of them have different features. From backcountry slopes filled with natural obstacles, to snow parks that will leave you wanting more.

During summer, the mountains turn greener don the bottom, giving hikers, mountain bikers and canyoning enthusiasts plenty of territory to discover. Climbing is no stranger in the spot, especially at the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, Punta Alata de Comalesbienes and Els Encantats.

The rivers Noguera Pallaresa, Noguera Ribagroçana & Garonne are ideal enclaves in the Lleida regions for water activities both white-water and calm waters. Here you’ll find great channels and streams to go rafting, kayaking, and even bodyboarding!

Some of the most visited places in this spot are without doubt the Aigüestortes National Park, Montsec mountain range and Moixeró Natural Park. All of them have lakes, streams and reservoirs hidden in its depths. Therefore, the practice of canyoning and caving is very popular, as well as, BTT, trekking and hiking.

There are more than 300 canyoning/caving sites in the province, plus over 2,300km of marked and unmarked trails for mountain bikers and trekkers and countless channels to enjoy of aquatic activities!
