Lake Magne: What to do when you get there?

In the heart of Vienne department in France, Lake Magne is located between Poitiers, Tours and Saumur. The water base of the lake allows you topractice many water activities and sports including wakeboarding.

The surroundings of the lake are especially nice since it is in the middle of a forest that provides shade in summer and permanent protection against the wind.

The 5 pulleys Wake Park has a length of 840m. It is accessible to both beginners and more experienced riders who begin to do tricks and would like to try out the many modules on the lake: 2 kickers, 1 box , 1 pipe, 1 bow, 1 roof, 1 fun box. This is the perfect place for a getaway on a weekend or when you're out from a long day. Around the Wake Park, it is possible to roam around on foot or by bike and enjoy the many facilities on site.

The village of Moncontour (which is part of city preservation associations), which is a few miles away only from the lake is a wonder that comes straight from medieval times, with stone walls and small authentic streets. After a good session of gliding or mountain biking, this is the perfect stop!

The lake is only 1 hour from Poitiers and Saumur, 1:30 hours from Tours... It would be a shame to miss an opportunity to go there!
