This fun-filled 23-hour excursion begins at the meeting point in Tromsø, where you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable, English-speaking guide. You and your group (a maximum of 17 people) will board the bus for a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Camp Tamok and the Tromsø Ice Domes. Upon arrival, you'll be treated to a guided tour of the sculptural Ice Domes, learn more about the area, and have a non-alcoholic shot at the Ice Bar.
After a break, you will be shown to your ice suite and provided with a thermal suit, boots, mittens, and snowshoeing gear. In the company of your guide, you will snowshoe to a nature camp where you'll enjoy a roaring campfire and an incredible view of the night sky, far away from the city lights. If luck is on your side, you may even witness the majesty and the vivid colours of the Aurora Borealis!
After snowshoeing, you'll be served a delicious 3-course dinner (please specify dietary requirements upon booking) in a warm and cosy dining hall. Back at the camp, you can enjoy leisure time and prepare for a magical evening in the Ice Hotel. The following morning, a traditional Norwegian breakfast will be served. Then, it's time to gear up and get ready for reindeer sledding! Your instructor will introduce you to these formidable creatures and provide a safety briefing as well as an overview of reindeer sledding techniques. Now the fun starts, you'll experience the thrill of being pulled by a reindeer in the glistening snow.
Once you've said goodbye to your four-legged friends, you'll be served a well-deserved meal around an open fire in a reindeer herder's tent. Refreshed and relaxed from your delicious lunch, it will be time to pack your belongings and board the bus for the journey back to the original departure point in Tromsø.
