If you dream of flying over the Chamonix valley, then this tandem paragliding experience overlooking Mont Blanc is for you!

Discover paragliding in Chamonix and fly over one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world facing Mont Blanc. From the air, you'll discover impressive views over the Alps. The chance to fly over Europe's highest peak is an opportunity not to be missed! You'll be able to take a camera with you for a lasting souvenir of the experience.

Your first paragliding experience in the Mont-Blanc area will be in complete safety, with the assistance of a qualified instructor who knows the paragliding spot like the back of his hand! All you have to do is run a few metres for take-off, and once you're airborne, the instructor will be in charge of piloting you. You'll be able to enjoy the Mont-Blanc paragliding area with complete peace of mind!

Depending on your expectations and your level, you can take off from Planpraz (2000m), Plan de l'Aiguille (2300m) or the Aiguille du Midi (3700m). One thing's for sure: paragliding near Chamonix will blow your mind!

This flight is available from June 11th to September 20th. And from half of December to half of April.

You will take off from a height of 2000m for a 20 to 30 minutes flight (the activity in a whole should last approximately 1h30).

Course of events

- You meet your instructor at the bottom of the cable cars of Brevent (around 10 minutes ride to the top)
- You will walk a few minutes to reach the take-off site and once you're there, you will set up your glider with your instructor and get geared up
- You'll have a quick briefing before you take-off for your 20/30 minutes flight, finally landing at Savoy, only 2/3 minutes away from the town centre

Maximum weight: 100 kg

Special terms

A written parental authorisation is required for minors under 18 to take part in this activity.

The meeting time will be defined with your instructor depending on the weather condition.

The video option is available for an additional €30, payable on site.

A special flight for people with disabilities is available in summer only if booked 3 weeks in advance (a supplement may be required depending on weight to hire adapted equipment).

You will take off from an altitude of 2,300 metres for a 30 to 40 minutes flight (the whole activity will last approximately 1.5 hours).

Course of events

- You will meet your instructor at the bottom of Aiguille du Midi cable cars

- You'll have a quick briefing before you take-off for your 30/40 minutes flight

You will take off from an altitude of 3,700 metres for a 45 minutes to 1 hour flight (the whole activity will last approximately 3 hours).

Course of events

- You will meet your instructor at the bottom of the Aiguille du Midi cable cars
- Once you've reached the top, you will put on your crampons (with the help of your instructor) and go down the ridge of the mountain (which might be covered in snow or ice) to the take-off site, which is located at an altitude of 3,700 metres
- There, you will set up your glider with your instructor and get geared up
- You'll have a quick briefing before you take-off for your 45 minute/1 hour flight
- You'll land at Savoy, only 2/3 minutes away from the town centre or Bois du Bouchet, a 10 minute walk from the town centre

Activity requirements

You need to be in very good physical condition to take part in this activity.

Maximum weight: 90 kg

Special terms

A written parental authorisation is required for minors under 18 to take part in this activity.

It is recommended that you have already flown in a tandem paraglider and have previous experience of high mountains and walking with crampons before choosing this flight.
