Southern Lapland's beautiful Korouoma National Park is known as the "paradise of ice falls". Discover its unique beauty during this 6-hour hiking experience!
Located 150 km (93 miles) from Rovaniemi, this popular destination for tourists and locals alike is approximately 30 km (18 miles) long and is situated northwest and southeast in the valley. Korouoma National Park's distinctive canyon is part of a bedrock fracture zone that was formed hundreds of millions of years ago. Known for its majestic frozen waterfalls, it is frequented by nature and sports enthusiasts, including ice climbers, snowshoers, skiers, and hikers!
Your adventure begins after meeting your guide, either at the Arctic City Hotel or at one of the pre-arranged pick-up points, then you'll depart for the 1.5-hour car ride to the National Park! During your hiking experience, you'll take in the stunning views and benefit from some physical activity and savour the fresh winter air. You'll also pause for a well-deserved break with warm drinks and cookies.
