Activity Snapshot
Activity description
These state-of-the-art electric snowmobiles not only allow you to travel through the rugged Arctic wilderness but actually become one with the surrounding nature. Glide noiselessly through the immaculate snow, and discover the untouched Lappish nature along our exclusive routes through the forests.
During this 2-hour and 30-minute zero-emission excursion, we will venture into the backcountry of Rovaniemi to experience its spectacular wilderness at every stage of the rapidly evolving afternoon light. We will begin in complete daylight, crossing the frozen lake and continuing through bogs and forests. Then, as time goes by, we will witness the changing colours of the snowy woodlands' with the setting of the sun. Stars will begin to peak out into the darkening night sky as we make our way back to the base.
There will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures, and you will also take a break by a warm fire in a cozy wooden Kota along the way. With your eSled safely parked outside, you will enjoy some grilled sausages, flatbread, pastries, and hot drinks in the middle of the Arctic wilderness by twilight.
Still, a relatively new addition to Wintersports, electric snowmobiling is an exciting innovation for sustainable sports and travel. Hop on and experience a rare taste of the future of Arctic adrenaline sports, surrounded by the ancient Finnish woodlands.
