Activity description
Enjoy a snowshoeing trip to a national park near Levi with a local expert guide in the area!
This 5-hour hike will take place in the beautiful Pallas-Ylästunturi National Park, in the middle of the highest fells of Western Lapland. Thanks to the snowshoes provided by the guide, we will hike through untouched snow in the middle of some of the most isolated and deserted valleys in the world. Let the peace of the Arctic wildlife envelop you as you make your way through the silent landscape, with only the sound of the snow crunching beneath you for music.
With a maximum number of 7 people per group, this experience is truly personal and personalizable, the guide taking into account the preferences of each group when planning the itinerary and breaks.
The duration of the activity is approximately 5 hours altogether. We meet in Levi and drive together for 45 minutes to the National Park. Once there, there will be 2-2.5 hours of snowshoeing as well as an hour lunch break, during which we will enjoy some grilled sausages and snacks by a campfire. There will even be a chance to make coffee with the crystal-clear spring water running nearby. This park is known for its clean water as well as its clean air - in fact, the cleanest air in Europe was measured just nearby, so breath it all in! An outing here is one of nature's gifts.
After our hike, the guide will drive you safely back to Levi. Strap on your snowshoes and get ready for a slice of Lappish heaven!
