Activity description
After being picked up from your accommodation, travel to Norvajärvi, where you will suit up and put on your snowshoes for a journey in the wonderful snowy forest. Walk through the fairytale-like forests in silver-white snow, escorted by your experienced guide, and enjoy the unique snowshoeing experience.
You will come to a halt by the lake and begin ice fishing. The guide will demonstrate how to operate the equipment and drill a hole in the frozen lake. Drop your line, take a seat, and wait for a bite. The sight of serene, peaceful nature allows you to unwind while taking in the landscape. After that, gather around the bonfire, grill some salmon, sausage, and fish you caught, and enjoy the great Lappish cuisine while warming up with steaming blueberry tea.
Put on a floating survival suit and head to the open water region after you've refreshed yourself with the barbecue. As you float peacefully in the water, look up at the sky. Because the days are shorter in Lapland during the winter, you might even see the beautiful Northern Lights dancing over you.
- At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place and 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sunday.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children under 7 years old are not allowed.
- Pick-up starts 60 minutes before departure.
- Pick-up/drop-off to your hotel/accommodation within a 15 km radius of Rovaniemi city centre.
Please be advised that floating suits are only available for participants that are at least 150cm tall (4 ft, 9).
