Join along an adventurous 5 km dog sledding ride in the Lappish forest starting from Levi, for a unique and intimate experience through the snowy landscapes and wonderlands of the magical Lapland!
Your adventure starts with a quick briefing in the kennel where you will meet your new little friends who will guide you through the snowy forests in Levi. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the thrilling journey that awaits you!
Accompanied by an experienced musher, the journey will take you through unique landscapes, lush forests, and snowy woods. Ride along as you awe over the strength and teamwork of these incredible dogs, who are as fast as they are enthusiastic in their job! Make sure to hold on tightly to your cameras - speed can reach up to 35 km/hour!
Once the trip is over, it will be time to unharness the siberian huskies and thank them for their efforts. Pet the dogs and give them all your love, as the musher puts away their equipment and provides them with food and drink. In this small kennel, dogs are co-workers and treated as a part of the family.
You will then sit by the fire, and replenish with some delicious treats while your guides share some fascinating stories and legends with you. You will learn about the huskies and their deep bond with the mushers, as well as the culture of dog sledding in Lapland.
