Activity description
Come try dogsledding in Swedish Lapland, and enjoy the scenic Nordic landscapes while sitting in a sled pulled by dogs!
Kiruna is a town located in the northernmost part of Sweden, situated in the province of Lapland, which has been inhabited for at least 6,000 years. It's a perfect destination for curious travelers who want to enjoy Sweden's frozen winter wilderness!
You'll enjoy the scenic Nordic landscapes 145 kilometers (90 miles) north of the Arctic circle while sitting in the sled pulled by a team of energetic Siberian huskies!
Guests may choose to share a sled drawn by 5-6 dogs with another participant or take charge of their own sled drawn by 3-4 dogs. If you choose to share a sled, one person sits, while the other one drives, but you can always switch places after the lunch break.
This trip is approximately 4-5 hours long and includes a delicious, hot lunch. Please note that a minimum of 2 people is required to run the tour.
Don't miss out on this chance to create life-lasting memories!
Your clothing for the tour should be hardwearing and warm, ideally made of natural material, wool, or cotton. It is worth noting that garments made of Gore-Tex or similar materials are not recommended. Man-made fabrics can fail to give protection in extreme cold.
All children should be accompanied by an adult.
