This tour is run & operated from central Rovaniemi and travels to the neighbouring Ounasvaara area. All safaris include pick-up service from Rovaniemi city centre, Santa Claus Village and Ounasvaara. 
Head to the winter cabin in Ounasvaara to begin this wilderness snowmobile safari! Perfect for adventurous beginners and off-road enthusiasts, your adventure starts will a short safety briefing and demo - wrapping up warm with outerwear provided by the activity centre. After a short practice session, follow your guide into the forest - travelling through a winter wonderland of snow-laden forest in the safety of a supervised convoy. Kids can come too, with a sledge available for small children and those who don't want to ride on a snowmobile. Set to a casual pace, you'll get a chance to perfect your technique and try some tricks, travelling through a selection of wild yet well-maintained routes that cut through the traditional Lapland landscape. A 2-hour 10km circuit, travel back to the cabin where return shuttle will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation.
