First Diving Experience from Caldera Beach in Santorini

Scuba diving itself is hard to pick up in one day but it opens a whole new world up to you.

Great Instructor!

The scuba trial was amazing. The water was a little cold but visibility was perfect. We saw several types of fish and the grass close to the beach as well as the rocks under the beach

Dimitris is a very friendly and knowledgeable dive instructor. In a few hours he taught us the basics of diving. A perfect place for a diving experience!

Fue una mañana increíble. Vimos un montón de peces y nos explicaron todo genial para realizar la aventura. Fue una experiencia muy bonita que se queda en mis recuerdos. Fue muy guay poder hacerlo privado y no en grupo.

2 magnifiques plongées avec un instructeur (Dimitris) très expérimenté. Je recommande fortement cette activité avec Dimitris, il m’a mis en confiance tout le long de l’activité.

Worth it to try and learn!

Simply put, we could not recommend Dimitris more highly! He is a thoughtful, kind, patient, accommodating and funny instructor. He picked us up and dropped us off (at two different locations). He made the theory portion accessible and easy to understand, and we both felt incredibly comfortable with him in the water. The dive itself was magical and suitable for a first dive. We only wish we had booked the optional second dive with Dimitris too!

We absolutely loved this experience and cannot recommend it more highly. Dimitris was amazing - he is clearly very experienced and he always made us feel safe and prepared. But more than that, he never rushed through the experience - from the moment of pickup from our hotel, he was happy to answer questions and tell us stories about the history of Santorini and the ecological work Dive in Action does in the region. We booked two dives and cannot recommend it more - seeing the reef was incredible. You can tell that Dimitris - who is a very interesting person in his own right - cares deeply about what he does and wants share that appreciation with this students. One million stars out of 10. The experience is private and not rushed, unlike more commercial dive shops, but you have an instructor with thousands of hours of experience and a wealth of knowledge about the island and its environment. Thank you so much Dimitris!

Performed a 25m dive for the first time, and it was great. The rock formations and wildlife were fascinating!

Myself and my partner did a double dive with the team and everything from the pickup, guidance, the dive itself and support throughout was just fantastic.

We loved this area!! We have gone to multiple others and none of our instructors were as helpful as Dimitris. He made sure we knew exactly what to do and triple checked everything for our safety. After our scuba diving him and his wife drove us to multiple rental car locations and found us the cheapest and best option. They even talked to the rental car company in Greek for us. ABOVE AND BEYOND

My experience was exceptional, with one on one teaching it was great to be able to explore so much of the volcanic reef! There was even a transfer to and from the location to my hotel I was staying in. I did my research on multiple different diving sites and companies and I would 100% recommend this one!

Great introductory dive. It was more about enjoying the feel of being underwater and learning about the ecosystem, rather than learning technical skills or seeing all that you would on a more experienced dive. Kept to small groups for a more personal experience, and Dimitris could help with things like buoyancy control the whole way (all necessary skills still explained and demonstrated first of course!)

The dive was great - equipment fit well and took just the right amount of time, 2-3 hours. Highly recommend diving in Santorini (especially with Dimitris) if you have a few hours to spare!

We did one discover dive with Dimitris as it was my first time and my wife's first time in 5 years. He was very informative, caring, and patient.
